Some useful websites/forums

Hey guys

Thought you'd like a heads up on some interesting websites you might want to check out.

The first Modelers, Miniatures and Magic is a gallery of awesome science fiction builds from various artists, even featuring some from our very own university. Its also an excellent source for reference photographs if your looking to build any famous spacecraft. Its updated pretty regularly so theres usually something nice to see. Its run by a pretty eccentric businessmen who's addicted to sci fi and has a massive crush on X-wings... Model making students will find some really excellent stuff here.

The second is a dedicated prop forum. The Replica Prop Forum deals (rather obviously) with replica pieces from movies and is a place for you to share your builds and get advice on creation techniques from a really wide selection of artists. I frequent this board a fair bit and have learned loads of stuff from it. I really urge you to check it out especially if prop making is your thing. Character creation students will also find a lot of useful stuff on here too.

Love

Chewie

PS.
Oooooh also, as Rich said in the comment (which I only just read sorry man!) check out www.theeffectslab.com for some really pro work - mostly character creation relevant stuff but still its really col to check out! Thanks Rich
