Architectural Project

Hey guys, so the architectural project ended a week or so ago with some really awesome results. Check out the slideshow at the end of this post to see the results of everyone’s creativity. Heres a small example of a couple of projects that really caught our eye!

The first is the awesome skeletal structure built by Shaun. Made almost entirely from hand cut pieces it’s a great example of how repeated patterns put together can make a striking final piece.

The second is Josh’s brass and copper creation. It really gives us the impression of some form of steampunk device as well as being really well made it’s a nice example of the different finishes you can get with metals.

Next is Andy’s amazing house based on the one from the movie ‘Up’ A really really intricately detailed piece its made using many different materials and really has a lot of charm and personality.

Finally is the the expertly made gallery space from Triss (Hope I spelt that right) This really looks like a professional architectural model and its obvious a lot of effort went into making this model.

We’d love to talk about so many of them but simply don’t have enough space! Anyway, we’d absolutely love to hear all your opinions about the project, what parts worked well, what parts didn’t, where you all went to for materials and just general stuff like did you enjoy it? Please leave a comment on this post with your opinions, don’t worry, this is totally informal and will not come back to you and if you’re that paranoid you can leave a comment anonymously!

Finally here’s the slideshow of all the model projects made.
